Big Momma
Carol Brown aka "Big Momma" is by trade a Licensed Massage therapist who has had an established massage practice for 15 years. She has also been satisfying her famiy's cravings for quality baked goods for over 30 years. She got the idea for a cottage industry baking business when the FDA laws changed in 2011. After testing several markets, Carol found her home at the Barberville Family Farm Swap and Market. A place where the folk are friendly and the atmosphere of the market "feels" good!
She started with whoopie pies and her ooey gooey fudge brownies, and now has added different style cakes, pies, scones, and cookies plus her line of healthy snacks, dehydrator made spicy kale chips, pepper jerky and granola bars. She even has "barky Bars" all natural treats for dogs. She carries seasonal items like sauerkraut, pumpkin butter, and cranberry sauce as well as her hand painted signs and hats. Big Momma is also an artist who paints, so be on the lookout for new painted items she introduces regularly. Peppermint is plentiful in Big Momma's garden, potted mint and other assorted herbs will be available soon Stop by her booth when you visit the market and check out her ever changing variety of goodies! You never know what delectible delight you will find!
