Tack It Again

Tack It Again was started back in November of 2012 by Paula Coffman and Bonnie Pruitt. They had one used english saddle that neither wanted so it was listed on ebay the item sold with a fair profit. While both worked their full time jobs, they decided to clean out their tack rooms and bring those items to Barberville Family Farm Swap & Market. When those items had sold, they began to purchase saddles through ebay and resell at local horse shows and farm markets. Today, they have a shop at the Daytona Beach Flea Market and still travel to horse shows and farmers markets. They specialize in western tack at affordable prices. In mid June, they will be opening their mobile store in a 7'x16' trailer for easy access for all of their wonderful customers. Please check out our Face Book page and "Like" us!

July 6th & 20th 2013

are the dates for the next 2 Farm Swaps

(June has 5 Saturdays)

7 am till about noon
Hope to see you there!!!

We are asking our farmers to be set up by 8 AM

to establish the selling rows and to be ready for your buyers when they arrive.

There will no longer be rummage/clothes/household for sale at the farm swap

as we stay with our core mission to be a premier farmers market/swap.

There will no longer be snacks/ drinks sellers as we try very hard to keep our

food vendor coming to the farm swap especially our early morning food vendor.

Call 386-469-9409 if you have a question if it will be allowed to be sold.

Service Dogs only at the swap please - you will be asked to leave

if you bring a dog this covers both vendors and public.

The June 15th farm market was great as always, we had 4 farmers waiting to get in at 5:15 Am to get them coveted shade spots during the summer months.

We had a great turn out of both farmers and buyers & appreciate the new Sweet Corn as well as Watermellon farmers that are raising these crops just 6 miles up the road from the farm market grounds.

We took in $157.00 in donations,....... This covered the rental of the property and a 1/2 of a port o john, we still need to cover the web site hosting as well as the liability insurance.

I am committed to operating this free community farmers market/swap and with your financial support we will be able to pay our bills.

We are a 100% community supported, nobody collects a salary at this farmers market and all our farmers sell for free as well.

Luznar Feed Store  &  Hay Baby, LLC donated the gift certificates as well as hay bales to the free raffles.

Viva la verde donated a total of $60.00 in gift certificates to be used at their booth or organic store in Cresent City, Florida.

Honey was donated by Haw Creek Honey Company

We had a total of 6 nice Rex dwarf bunnies to raffle as well,.

Richards, the watermelon seller donated a couple of watermelons

Perez Nursury donated a nice large pepper plant

The $20.00 fuel card was won by a very happy person on our email list that knew this weeks saying: Barberville Family Farm Swap & Market: Farmers and Families, the American Way !
